Michael Paul Smith was born in 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Despite having lived in New England for the past 40 years, Pittsburgh, as he himself says, is: "My geographical Spiritual Center". His work is a mixture of skills that has accumulated over the years in a variety of activities developed in jobs he worked for. Book Illustrator, painter, designer of Museum exhibitions, manufacturer of scale models for architecture, and Art Director for retail stores.
